Community Matters: Insurance Partners of Charlotte is excited to sponsor the Inaugural Community Matters Bowling Tournament. Our tournament supports Charlotte Rescue Mission while giving local insurance professionals the chance to have some fun with colleagues across the industry.

Our initial goal this year was to raise $75,000, we are excited to annouce that we have surpassed that goal! So, we have now created a new challange to raise $100,000, but we can't do it without you. So get your team together. Support your favorite teams and participants. Be a tournament sponsor. Do what you can to help us reach our 2020 goal!

Community Matters is a nonprofit organization of Charlotte-area insurance firms and professionals who have banded together to advance one cause at a time through a charity partner. Our current partner is Charlotte Rescue Mission, chosen because of its focus on battling drug and alcohol addiction, an issue that touches almost everyone either directly or indirectly.

The mission of Charlotte Rescue Mission is to transform the lives of individuals struggling with addiction, poverty and hopelessness, with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens. 

Charlotte Rescue Mission and Community Matters have joined together to launch the Community Matter Cafe in 2019.  This full-service coffee shop will teach life skills to graduates of Charlotte Rescue Mission's substance abuse recovery programs while providing the community with an exciting new spot to grab a cup of coffee, stop in for breakfast or lunch, and gather for business and community meetings.

We invite you to join our tournament and help win the battle against alcohol and drug addiction in Charlotte-Mecklenburg!
