Our Organization

Community Matters: Insurance Partners of Charlotte was formed in 2011 by a group of local insurance and risk management executives. Our overall objective is to maximize the impact of our industry's outreach efforts in Charlotte.

The alliance now includes local insurance brokers; carriers; independent agents, TPAs, risk managers, and local insurance groups like CPCU and the Insurance Professionals of Charlotte.

Community Matters has two specific goals. First, the group picks specific charities to help -- we're currently working with Charlotte Rescue Mission in its battle against alcohol and drug addiction.

Second, Community Matters has become a place where the industry can come together and showcase all the worthy initiatives each employee and firm -- and the industry as a whole -- does for the local community.

Our 2020 fundraising campaign begins with our Bowling Tournament, followed by group and local fundraising efforts.

Charlotte Rescue Mission will also be actively involved in a campaign to educate people about addiction.
